U-Haul Moving & Storage of Burnsville

I called U-Haul before I made my reservations to confirm some information and spoke to someone at the Uhaul headquarters. The information provided determined my decision on what kind of rental I needed. Unfortunately, headquarters personnel gave me inaccurate information. The general manager at the Burnsville location was very helpful and accommodating and was able to help me figure out the correct vehicle to rent. Up on returning the rental, the staff was very friendly. In fact, my boyfriend realized after we left Uhaul that he misplaced his sunglasses and the staff took the time to help us out. We drove back to the Burnsville location, the staff took us to the rental and help us look around. We didn't find anything but we really appreciate the staff taking the time to help us.

Nice customer service

The fellow that I dealt with kept talking about how crazy busy it was, and acted tired and put out by this. He was not friendly at all.

I was told that the tank was full, and to return it that way. The gas gauge showed a bit under full, but I thought perhaps that was 'full' for that van. I only drove it for a total of less than 30 miles. I went to the gas station and filled it up to full (almost 6 gallons). I started the truck and, sure enough, the needle on the gas gauge was above the full mark.

I told the fellow at the desk at Uhaul this. He said, 'OK, thanks for letting me know.'

Customer service is sorely lacking!
