Was dirty in back of truck when picked up and nit much better up front but cuz I didn't have ant money to top off fuel i left it on half tank I am charged 200 plus dollars but just to get it was $345 like shit think ppl are rich i won't use them anymore

My wife and I rented a U-Haul trailer & a 4 wheel dolly on 8/27/2024 at the Carbondale facility for moving a washer from Lowes to my Granddaughter’s home in Murphysboro. We returned the trailer and was disconnected by a U-Haul employee. The on the 28th 1:47pm I missed a call from the U-Haul facility and today 8/31/24 5:18pm Saturday I received a call from U-Haul asking if I had returned the trailer. I advised the representative we did on the same day before closing an employee disconnected it and received the dolly. I told the representative they need to keep better records. The only complaint was their question me of my return of the property that could put a legal burden on me the customer. Therefore, my usually renting with no problem in Paducah, Ky was potentially a problem in Carbondale. I couldn’t give a 5 rating but reduced to a 3 rating.

This was the worst experience ever. I will be going to Budget from this point on. Staff didn’t show up to work until 2 hours after opening time. I reserved the U-Haul days in advance and still had to wait in line for over 2 hours. The system was down and the mileage and gas was inaccurate. I was suppose to have 3/4 but it was so close to empty, I was scared to drive it. I returned the equipment on a Wednesday and they just closed my ticket yesterday.??

After a terrible experience, picking up the Carbondale store where I dropped off was phenomenal. The manager Miranda was incredibly helpful. Highly recommend.
