I rent trailers around twice a year for work. I've tried a number of U-Haul locations in the Raleigh/Durham/Greensboro/Fayetteville area. Some have been ok - some have been absolutely abysmal. This location is by far the best one I've dealt with. They have great inventory. Thus far, they have had the trailer I reserved (unlike some other locations that have it on the website and allow you to reserve it, yet it's not there when you show up).

Staff is polite and efficient. Dropped a trailer off today in fact. Pulled in, there was an employee outside, he pointed where he wanted me to drop it, came over as soon as I stopped and unhooked the trailer, emailed me a copy of the receipt. Literally 3 minutes to drop off. I can't express how much this is appreciated after a long day moving things around.

The pickup took maybe 5-6 minutes. I realize I may have gotten lucky with timing, but I've rented from here 4 times and have not waited more than 10 minutes.

Everything was pretty standard. Only thing I was disappointed in was an extra charge on my account. I was set to return the truck at 2:30pm. I called the office and asked if it would be okay to return the truck at 3:30pm instead. Woman on the phone told me that was no problem, and actually thanked me for calling and letting them know. When I received the final invoice, there was a $30 extra charge for the vehicle being “late”. I wasn’t notified I would be charged if I was late when I initially picked up the truck, or on the call with the employee. When I called to address this, they said if I had just said that I needed the truck all day, no additional fee would have applied. So my recommendation is to just book the truck for an entire day, whether you need it or not.
