Employees are super kind and helpful. When my husband and I were unloading our U-Haul multiple employees checked in on us and gave us water. Eric and Jeff were great! There was also another gentleman working primarily on the parking lot and I didn’t catch his name, but he was very kind as well. Highly recommend, good honest people.
Rented a towing dolly for a one way move. Dolly had previous damage repairs that where not done correctly and the left fender ended up coming loose damaging the wiring for the trailer light and blowing the fuses on my car. Had to call roadside assistance and the came and repaired it but on my next stop I notice that the fender had come loose again. Called roadside assistance to see if I could get a replacement dolly and they told me to go to a location to get a replacement. That location didn’t have a replacement and I ended up returning the dolly at that location since I didn’t want to risk more damage to the dolly or my car’s fuses blowing out again.
I called customer service to get a replacement since my rental was for 3 days and I only had the dolly for less than a day and they told me that it has to be done though roadside assistance. Roadside assistance told me I would have to call customer service to do a new reservation and pretty much have to pay again to rent a dolly. Called customer service and talked to a supervisor and they said the same thing which doesn’t make sense since I used the dolly for less than a day and had to call roadside assistance twice plus my rental agreement was for a one way move which included 3 days of rental of the dolly. A manager for roadside assistance called me back and said there was nothing she could do because the contact was closed already but she was going to put a request to have the rental location issue a refund for the rental. She said that this rental location is supposed to call me in the next 72 hours to figure out the next steps.
They don't close at the times listed on their website or Google or their front doors. In fact they close anywhere from 10-20 mins prior to and said that corporate is 'ok' with turning customers away even if its not time to close yet.
