Trey was so friendly after the exhausting experience we had at the Mendenhall location. We originally reserved a truck for 24 hours but, after an hour of waiting at the other understaffed location, they did not have a truck available. We called the Collierville location and Trey had us taken care of in minutes. We arrived, were immediately serviced, and on our way! 5 stars just for Trey! Friendly, customer facing employees are too few and far between not to appreciate him!

As you are the General Manager I wanted you to know about my experience with U-Haul.
My sister and I were moving our mother out of her home of 18 years on 9/1/23 Friday. We knew getting the truck would be the easiest part of the day for us, seeing as I booked and reserved everything almost a month in advance, unfortunately it wasn’t. We arrived at the Olive Branch location as reserved and on my reservation text – see attachment.
When we arrived on time the lady said it’s at a Collierville location. Now seeing as we’re told to keep the truck in city limits it’s puzzling why I’m having to drive outside city limits to get it just to double back to Desoto County and back to Collierville to drop it off. When I called the Collierville location, she told me that’s not what she sees and that, “there’s a shortage of trucks so if you want it” and “someone should have told you I guess”. They guess??
Basically, if you want it get it or don’t, I don’t care– that’s the impression my sister and I received.
When we arrived at the Collierville location, the dollies I had reserved wasn’t there. Yet another hit.
She simply said, ‘we don’t have any’. Not one ounce of concern or care came from anyone at U-Haul, not even an acknowledgment that this was an unprofessional and awful experience and COMPLETELY UNAPOLOGETIC FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.
Reservations didn’t matter, customers/people don’t matter. Just take it or leave it, we don’t care what you booked.
It was an awful experience to say the least, and I certainly hope if you ever must move your own parent or your child must move you sir one day, they won’t have to start that day off the way we had too with U-Haul.
And to top it off you charge me $200. A solid $100 over what the contract says. SHAMEFUL.
