U-Haul Moving & Storage of Danvers

Was given a truck by this location that had a major failure while driving through Boston. It was incredibly dangerous for both me and everybody around the vehicle at the time.

After waiting 5 hours for road side assistance to arrive I was given a tow to my final destination. This location initially tried to give me $20 back for all of this. I explained that I would have to touch base with an attorney before going forward with anything and was immediately kicked out.

Later I received an email stating that half of my purchase was refunded, something like $170 of $300. I was broken down for 5 hours and these guys seriously were only willing to give me half of my total charge back.

I am now in the process of working with corporate to figure something out. The entire situation was a nightmare.

They were extremely helpful, and we were able to get the moving supplies we needed.

The person at the desk never got up from the computer, scolded me when I had to park in another location because all the return spots were full, and did not got over the truck and said that he would contact me later if he had any concerns. I returned the van early and he seemed upset that he had to do his job. I’m glad all I had to do was return the van here, because the facility in CT where I rented it was very professional and I would not have wanted to deal with your employee any longer than the 3 seconds he deigned to spend with me.
