U-Haul Moving & Storage of Downtown Lynchburg

If I could this uhaul storage location Zero stars I would . Someone broke into my storage unit took almost everything I had in the unit. I called talk to couple different people did a claim and everything . Still til this day I haven't heard anything back from the manger or the claim rep about my things that was stolen . I called numerous of times left voicemails and haven't heard from anybody that works with uhaul . So if you want your personal items stolen that you work hard far this the place to go to if no then stay away from this place .

My experience was not good. I went into the store only to be told that I needed to leave and use the app. The app wouldn't work for me, the website wouldn't work for me, I spent 45 mins on the phone with customer service only to be told 'come back when the store is open'.
When I did come back, I was again told to use the app by people in the store. When it still didn't work the employee used her personal phone to complete the pickup, which was helpful to me, but seems to be a sub-par business practice.
When I did finally get a truck, the back had been left open causing the interior to be wet, but even if the door hadn't been open, there was a leak in the ceiling. The truck had been listed as having a full tank, but only had 7/8ths, that's fine, but if I hadn't noticed and taken a pic to record the gauge level I fear I would have been charged despite only using the truck for 10 miles.

Does anyone actually work at this location... phone is never answered...

I don't know about the bad reviews because the staff at 1760 Park Ave are excellent.

Staff was very nice and let me retrieve the rental truck way before the time I said I would. Best service ever
