Samantha the manager is truly a fraudster.
My first mistake was going to a place with already 1.5star ratings. I was initially informed a tow hitch and wiring install will be about 3 hours so I confirmed an appointment. I got there and in 1 hour my car was done, only the tow hitch was installed not the wiring.
The mechanic said wiring was not in his work order. (To sum up my issue with the mechanic he just did not want to do the job.) because l've attempted multiple conclusions with him. He also was frustrated in the background that I was looking for a rightful refund.
I was still charged $300 (3hrs), this was prior to me seeing the results of my car. (Which was my second mistake, I should've looked at the car before inserting my card.) The cashier said only the manager can issue refunds. So she noted on their copy of my receipt, under her own discretion of how much should be refunded to me, '1.5 hour refund'. And informed me the manager should be calling me around 2pm.
Comes 6pm, and of course still no phone call. So I called. This is when I've realized these employees are just scammers, and I wanted to exclude the cashier because she seemed to be very helpful although she is the one who knowingly charged me for 3 hours when by the time at check out l've been there for an hour and 10 minutes.
So Samantha says to me on the phone that I will not be getting a refund, only a tow hitch install is a 3hour job so l've blocked off the mechanics time slot for this, he is a fast worker and got a 3hr job done in 1hr, the system will not allow her to issue refunds for a work order. All sentences of what a scammer would say.
After some back and forth arguments, I mentioned I want to speak to someone higher up than her, she switches her attitude and says to me I can not get an 1.5hr refund that she will issue a refund of 1hr only.
Of course I did not believe her so l disputed a rightful amount of $180 with my bank. This was a month ago, still never received that $100 refund although I did win my case with the dispute.
I recommend Samantha to be fired immediately! I'm assuming this is her way of scamming people out of their money and making a few extra bucks for herself and the man that does half the job with full pay.
