U-Haul Moving & Storage of Elk Grove

Some of the worst customer experience I have ever received. Was called less than 24 hours before my Uhaul pickup to be notified that my Uhaul was not available until 3pm. I understand things happen, but absolutely no effort was made to assist in any way. Employee was rude, threatened to cancel my reservation and blatantly lied I was told there were no other trucks available within both a 30 and 50 mile radius. I asked to speak to her boss and she said she was the boss. I called again 15 minutes later and someone found a uhaul less than 30 miles away for me. Blatantly lying.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE, I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I used to like this one a lot. The people that used to work the counter had character friendly, nice, and they knew me so I never had to hear the whole script of bullshit. The return dude n chick was always fun to talk to very quick professional with their jobs! Now the counter people just seem like mindless drones going through the motions and the people when I return a truck are just rude especially tonight. First the dude says I’m less then I should be on gas which I brushed off tell he tried to charge me extra per mile then what was told to me a what was stated on my contract. And once given the proof he was just rude. Sorry to say but I don’t think I’ll be using this location any more
