Skip the other u-haul places! This is by far the best u-haul i’ve ever been to! The owner is awesome, he went above and beyond with the customer service.

We went here to rent a car trailer and the wiring in the adapter was found to be bad. How do we know this? The young man helping us, Gabriel, went above and beyond to check EVERY other option. His hands were filthy by the time he finished checking everything known to man before regrettably issuing us a refund. U-Haul did a great thing when they hired Gabriel. I have to thank Stephan also, he was super helpful when I called prior to making the trip to the store! Thank you Gabriel!!!!!;

DO NOT USE FOR HITCH INSTALLATION!!!!!!!!!!!!

Made an online reservation to have a trailer hitch installed a week in advance. Upon arrival for my installation, I am told by the manager of the Irby Street location that although he has my hitch, I will need to go to the Kmart location to get it installed. At first he tried to get me to pay for the hitch and then take it over to the other location and then pay for the install. I had already given U-Haul my credit card info, so this seemed unusual. When I questioned him about that, he then offered to send the hitch and wiring kit over to the location, so I could just pay for it all when the job was done. I agreed, and drove over to the other location, who then tell me that they do not have anyone who can install the hitch that day and we would need to reschedule. I had already arranged to borrow a car for that day while the install was happening and I also needed the hitch for a trip the following day. Needless to say, this ruined our plans, and I decided to cancel the hitch installation job with U-Haul rather than reschedule as I have ZERO confidence in their ability to complete the job.
