U-Haul Moving & Storage of Fort Smith

Every worker was beyond helpful and kind. From returning our rentals, during our stay in a unit and when we moved out. I ran into a few issues with my Autopay and the manager Quickly helped me get it all Taken care of. Very happy with our outside corner unit. Clean, lockable and in a well lit area. I would highly recommend this uhaul to anyone looking to store items or rent equipment, trailers or trucks. Great place!!!

All personnel at this location are excellent. I would especially like to commend the young man that checked me back in both times. This man is very helpful and deserves a raise.

They worked with me on a discount because I work for another uhaul location. The afternoon shift has a tendency to sit on their phones and leave trucks and trailers in the return lane. I parked it for the because I was unable to drop it under the awning.

Upon arriving to the storage unit, we were not informed that the unit I had rented was on the top floor with no elevator. My dad was not able to help move my items up stairs as he is too old. I had to rent a larger unit on the ground floor which was more costly per month. I did need more room, but not being told about the multi level storage unit caused a lot of issues after a very long hard move.
Also, after we checked in and walked to the glass doors in the heat, the card to open the door would not work. It kept saying not checked in. This was very frustrating! There was no workers that came to help or that we could ask in the yard. We pushed the help button many times with no help! That is terrible customer service.
Once we got in the unit finally, we found the building to smell funny and us in need of repair. We would also have appreciated a light in the unit as it was very difficult to seem. For the high amount we are being charged, you would think the accommodations would be much better. I will be trying to find a cheaper unit as soon as I can.
As far as the 6x12; trailer we rented, we were very happy. It pulled nicely and loved the brakes. The only issue was when we returned the trailer. The Uhaul in Washington said that we could return to any location, but we were told we had to take it to Cameron, Ok. This was inconvenient. Would recommend this trailer to others. Thank you.
