Review:

I was ready to swear off U-haul after the last two places I’d visited. But Joel was a lifesaver, he helped us out, apologized for our previous experiences with U-haul and really turned out day around after an awful move.

Review:

Overly complicated and unreliable process for checking in. Should make things easier, but hasn’t. Have an attendant copy my license and give me the keys. You’re making a fortune every weekend. Just hire some good people and pay them fairly. Your system puts a lot of stress on your customer when they are already stressed by moving.

Review:

The manager, Danielle, is absolutely amazing. We originally reserved a trailer, but when we hooked up to it, we found out our car’s trailer wiring harness had gone bad. She had absolutely no problem refunding us for the ball mount we bought from them and switching our trailer reservation to a small box truck. The truck’s fuel was full when we received it and we were able to refuel and return it with no issues. Sam was the one who checked us back in. He was very friendly and had us checked in within 5 minutes. I highly recommend this location, and especially the manager Danielle.

Review:

I called ahead to make sure Uhaul Golden had working appliance dollies available. When I arrived the associate outside was friendly and helpful. He asked me which cart I wanted. I said I wanted one that was in good shape that would do the job. They all looked the same to me. He pointed me toward the lineup of 5 carts and I loaded by one by myself into my vehicle to take home to move my appliance.

After loading up the dolly I found the mechanism that tightens the retention strap was broken, Not wanting to waste the time to unload my appliance and go back to the store to get a replacement cart, I came up with a workaround but had to be extra careful that my appliance did fall off the cart going up my staircase as a result. This was somewhat challenging.

When I got back to the store and told Erin, the person in charge about my experience, She just shrugged her shoulders. I asked her to come outside to look at the cart. She agreed with me that it was broken. I asked her for a refund and she told me I would have to follow to apply for a refund and wait for a response. Not very customer friendly . I picked up a business card for Danielle M the GM whom I intend to contact to discuss my experience and request a refund.

This experience was not up to par at all with what I expect of U-Haul stores. You can certainly do better maintaining your equipment and working to make things right for your customers.
