U-Haul Moving & Storage of Grand Junction

The front desk lady in the saints jersey was Rude. She also demanded to handle my phone to check me in, which is weird. When I picked up the truck it smelt like wet meat (gross) and the back was physically wet- assumed it had just being cleaned since it was wet and the smell. I began loading things and my dad almost slipped and I slipped twice because of the condition of the truck. I had to stop and waste my time to get the back cleaned by U-Haul during my reservation because it was slippery (it was barely able to be cleaned, he had to put packing blankets down to make the floor not a safety hazard even after he finished). When returning I said it wasn’t clean enough for the next user due to the previous user and was assured by the front desk I would not be charged for a cleaning fee. Guess who was charged a cleaning fee.

Customer service was great. However, the location was beyond sketchy. On one occasion, we found a homeless man laying in the hall. On another occasion, we witnessed a drug deal happening. Back side of the units are facing trailers and RVs that individuals are living in….definitely not a place you want to visit at night. Very very happy to finally have our stuff out of storage.

This review is for the grand junction uhaul at 2949 North ave. I came back in today after some frustration from a few days ago with a young man.btoday Heather helped me. She got everything ready in five min in a very positive happy manner.bive been so worried about all of it but she was wonderful and amazing. Thank you Heather ....maria

Customer service was great. The location was great and when renting the U-Haul, it was a smooth process by checking in online and the same with dropping it off easy Peezy.

False advertising and shit ton of extra charges not worth it to rent a pickup truck there
