U-Haul Moving & Storage of Gwynn Oak

At approximately 11:15am the day of my reservation, I received a call informing me my reservation was cancelled that I made for the entire day. It was cancelled due to me “not arriving by 9:15am”. I was already enroute to the location when I received this call. After informing the associate I was in need of the truck and I was almost there, they magically had an extra truck available.

The truck TM2208E was in poor condition: there is a hole in the brake line/it’s Losing fluid
The brakes are actually extremely terrible and the truck was hella scary to drive
Super dangerous
Had to avoid running into the back of cars and going down hill was actually life threatening . possibly Needs an alignment and transmission may be slipping
However, The staff I dropped off the truck to was wonderful
They did comp me a day. I hope that truck is off the fleet until the necessary repairs are made
Would give two starts but the staff was nice so 3 stars

I have pics and videos of how dirty and unkept my unit and the facility was. I had a dead mouse in my unit. Tyra was working on a Sunday, Father's Day to be exact and she was very very helpful and supportive! Not only did she come and get the mouse, she also removed my items from the storage unit and mopped and swept the entire unit. She never showed an attitude or blamed me for the situation. She explained that my unit must've been rented out before cleaning and she apologized for the mishap. She then went through the facility picking up trash and cleaning the floors. She deserves a badge of honor! She did her job with a smile on her face. I was also given an accommodation the situation. Her customer service is impeccable! I see why she's the general manager!! This is a commendation on her behalf.

My order was handled very professionally. I was greeted in the parking lot and walked through the process so that I understood how the hitch installation was to go. The service technician was very friendly and professional and did the job quickly. I would recommend this location again for any storage, rental, or installation work my friends and family might have.

I had a trailer hitch installed at this location and had a great experience. The staff was knowledgeable and was very pleasant to deal with.
