Rented a Truck for Sunday for moving my stuff from one storage space to a local one down the street. When we got to the Extra Storage, to unload, the elevators (both of them) were not working. I had to keep the uhual truck an extra day, just holding my stuff till Extra Storage fixed the elevator. ES messed up my moving experience. I was not going to have the movers I hired and I only had a short window of time to move the items, before returning the truck. -When I returned the uhual on Tuesday morning, RYAN REALLY HELPED ME OUT, he wrapped everything up for us, on our return. RYAN THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING, very pleasant guy. I'll make sure I recommend this U-Haul location to other people.
The online process was great. The face to face customer service was absolutely horrible. We will not be coming to this office again. The customer service personnel would not take the time to print a receipt upon return of the truck. The customer service rep there spoke to customers like they we’re ignorant , with a rude , unwilling demeanor. When asked for the manager , he said “ I’m the only one here”, but the manager was actually handling another complaint regarding the staff here in the back! When I asked him what the extra $53 with no detailed explanation on my card was he stated “ your miles, you must of not counted right” but the miles were already calculated for , he didn’t take the time to review it nor care to look into it. When asked for his manager again, he said I’ll be here tomorrow to. All to say stay away from this place ! The customer service treats people like they’re nothing but will take from you ! There’s no reason to treat people with anything less than respect for choosing your buisness !
