U-Haul Moving & Storage of Helena

The manager is very rude and gets angry while working with you even tho you are being reasonable and just asking questions. He was literally banging the phone on the counter and yelling at people SUPER PROFESSIONAL. When we called back later, answered the phone rudly again and we were just asking questions on all the crazy charges on our account to understand what's going on he kinda helped but really just demoralized us for trying to understand the situation 10/10 don't go to this location unless you want a Terrible experience

Ordered a moving truck a month in advance. When I went to pick it up they did not have that size and only had a truck double the size I needed. I had to take that truck and had to pay for the additional cost.

I checked on line for a one-way rental of a truck and 12 ft ramp trailer from Helena to Phoenix. The results came out to be around $1,200. I was happy with that price. The following day, I called spoke to an agent and he confirmed the same price within a few dollars. But when I arrived, the agent said all they had was a 9' trailer and the only truck available was 60 miles away and I would have to go get it. Furthermore, the 12' Ramp trailer sitting on the property was going to cost me $8,000 for the oneway trip to Phoenix. I pointed out that I had basically gotten a more satisfactory answer on line and in phone conversation. They apoligized but said it was beyond they're control.
So thumbs up for courtesy and promptness of answers but thumbs down to UHaul for it's lousy communications process.

When I first came in I was looking for a truck. I was told by Jennifer (the manager) 'Good luck with that'! When I asked for her name and supervisor she then told me she was the manager! I couldn't believe it. After contacting another employee Josh, him and Chris went above and beyond to help me get in a truck that I needed. Thank you guys so much for everything. They made this awful experience a pleasant one!

The assistant manager, Chris, and Jennifer at 990 E Lyndale Ave. were phenomenal!! They went above and beyond in helping me when not even Traffic for U-Haul did. They saved my day and helped me get a same-city pick up and drop off truck when all the one-way trucks were not available, even though I had a reservation that I made a month prior. Their help and service was so monumentally helpful and I am raving to all my friends and family about my experience with Chris and Jennifer at the 990 E Lyndale Ave location in Helena.
