U-Haul Moving & Storage of High Point

If you value your life, do not use this location. They give zero F's about their product, which means they could not care less about your life. The passenger side view mirror kept changing directions while driving on the highway. Once the truck was loaded, the tire went flat. I called and they told me it was my fault for not checking. I wish I could give less than one star. Use Enterprise truck rental on West Gate City...they care. Oh, the truck needs a wheel alignment. BADLY!! I guess I should have checked that first before I left also.

I reserved a trailer in Hickory. While on the way to pick it up I was called and told I've got to go to High Point an hour and a half away to pick up the trailer. I get to High Point and I am then informed I can't return it to Hickory as I previously thought I would, I've got to bring it back to High Point thus wasting 3 hours of my time and the fuel to get it there and back. If I was to return it where I was originally planning to pick it up I would be charged $600 which is insane. I couldn't be more disappointed in how this went.

False Advertisement. Advertised $108 discount for one-way trip and it wasn’t applied to our bill. Also estimated tax was $47 and they charged $74. Also $5 environmental fee. With all the extra charges and no discount, we spent over $200 more than anticipated.

This location has an extremely unprofessional staff with no sense of customer service. The women engage in inappropriate conversations, suck on popsicles in front of you while you stand there waiting on the completion of your transaction because their personal gossip is more important. The following day, when the truck was being returned, one of the women continuously cursed in front of the customers because she was frustrated to do her job. She let her anger be known to anyone who had to engage with her. It’s truly sad how customer service and professionalism is a thing of the past. The managers here need to train their staff better. If any of the women are managers then you need new ones. I will never recommend this location to anyone. I require another truck rental soon but will take my business elsewhere.
