U-Haul Moving & Storage of Hobbs

I arrived at local office to rent a truck, no acknowledgment when entering the store. It was like trying to pull conversation out of a 5-year-old about taking a Toy from another kid once the guy spoke to me . Local GM has a bad attitude she seems bothered by doing her job. Young man who made my reservation seems to hate life but works in customer service industry doesn't make since very uncomfortable experience. Make sure if you are a certain color you bring in your lease agreement, ID, utility bill an a DNA sample lol because she the little caucasian GM will do everything possible not to rent to you ??‍♂️ Hobbs NM do better ???‍?‍➡️

Will never ever use u-haul services again, it has been a complete shit show dealing with u haul during me and my family’s move from Texas to New Mexico. Horrible customer service and managers make deals with you on storage and then don’t carry out their end of the deal. Instead they will put a lock over your lock and take you out of the system where you have no access to your personal stuff in storage. And trying to get a hold of the area manager is ridiculous. These people don’t wanna make it right and will scam you. This review is not out of spite just a honest review of our experience

Storage facility is fine. However, be prepared for your monthly rate to increase in perpetuity. My rate has increased $40 over the last couple of years. Pure corporate unjustified greed. Can't wait to empty my storage unit.
