U-Haul Moving & Storage of Jericho Ny

I rented a pickup truck for 1 hour to go to costco. Upon returning to Uhaul they blamed me for a scratch on the tail gate 1 inch long. The scratch was there and not from me. I was never told to inspect the vehicle.
They want to charge 150 dollars. I presume this is the way the operate on a small rental to upcharge. Interesting they are able to price body work repair without seeking to a expert. Repair of a scratch is not my problem.
Stay away . Very unprofessional. Not worth the hassle.
.Refuse to speak to me .called 2 x so far.
Appears to be some prejudice attitude going around. Time to lawyer up.

1 employee working. Had to wait past my checkin time. Given a van with dead battery. Took even more time to get another one, which made me even more late. The new van wreaked of smoke and had no radio. Filled the gas tank to the 'F' mark which was more then the paper showed and more then when i picked it up. Got charged a $10 gas fee even when showing the guy the paper and pic i took. Didnt feel like arguing over $10 after a long day but what a terrible all around experience and service
