Would give them zero stars if possible. Reserved a trailer from them 5 days in advance to move my son to college. 3hrs before picking it up they call to tell me they won’t have it, and the closest one is in Lockport (I’m in Gretna). I told them great, go get it and tell me when you have it and I’ll pick it up. They tell me they don’t do that. Well sir. You should because that’s what’s called customer service. This isn’t a me issue. It’s a Uhaul issue. Well, Scott, didn’t like hearing that they had poor customer service. He hung up on me…twice. I will not use Uhaul ever again.

First, they pushed back my reservation by 2 and a half hours with no notification. I only found out by checking the reservation as I was preparing to leave to get the address, and they made no effort to tell me it was pushed. Then when I went to finally get the reservation, they told me I could not get a van with an out of state drivers license and they had no trucks left. I’m sure they covered that in the fine print on the website, but it was not explicit and there was no kind of confirmation that ever checked for that. Bad business all around, find someone who actually keeps their word.
