U-Haul Moving & Storage of Loves Park

I made an appointment at this location to have a trailer hitch and the wiring put on my truck I was given an appointment 9 days out from the day that I called to have the work done my appointment was on Wednesday morning at 7:00 a.m. I get there at 7:00 a.m. do the paperwork they take my keys I'm sitting outside it's now almost 7:30 they haven't even brought my truck inside and at this time I am the only customer there then the so-called manager comes outside and informs me they do not even have the wiring for my truck after waiting 9 days and for the manager not to realize that these parts were not there and ready for the customer proves that he has no knowledge of being a manager or anything else these guys absolutely ruined my day I was supposed to be moving some trailers today incompetence is the main word when you're describing this place thanks for nothing

I rent uhauls from time to time. In this particular location two gentlemen met me at the front and I stated that I was looking for a 10’ truck. They stated there was none available that they weee being all picked up. And that the box truck and pick up truck they had would need a major credit card to rent out. I asked if they were all being picked up as there were a few on the lot. And they said yes. The box truck or pick up truck didn’t work for me. So I told them I’d look else where. I decided to just download the U-Haul app and go from there. And to my surprise the app sent me back to that location. With minutes for them to close, thankfully the app let me check out on my own, which at that point they did not have no choice but to give me the key for one of the trucks they refused to rent out to me. I do not understand the point of having employees who do not want to work… thank you U-Haul for the app that lets us faithful customers rent as a self serve. I’ll just stick to the app moving fwd
