Review:

This location is very cramped and busy for driving large trucks in and out and they didn't have the dollies I reserved. The truck back hadn't been swept out and was dirty, plus the check engine light was on. I made my reservation a month in advance for an entirely different location 25 minutes away, but that location had no trucks (apparently the word 'reservation' has no meaning) and they sent me an automated text message and email 30 minutes before I was supposed to pick up my truck to tell me to go to this location in Malden instead, which put my entire move schedule behind by an hour. Terrible organization and service.

Review:

My one concern was in relation to a return on Sunday evening. I attempted calling the location at 430pm and no one answered. I was forwarded to customer service after a 3 minute wait on the phone. When I explained to the representative that I was less than 5 minutes away and was just hoping to make the deadline, the representative told me in Sunday when they're ready to go there's, 'morning that can be done.' I'm every other service industry, this is not the man's in which a business would comport themselves with the goal being retention and recommendation. Upon my arrival at 454pm, the on site employee was walking around the property with his headphones in, which would amount for his inability to not only answer the phone, but hear the phone ring. His refusing to acknowledge me as well was the offensive cherry on top. I think outside of everything else, this was a largely unprofessional way to go about business. Having the customer service representative over the phone proceed to take 5 minutes to explain to me why I was in the wrong and the U-Haul model was right, was irritating as well. If this is U-Haul's general business practice, that's immensely disappointing
