U-Haul Moving & Storage of Marrero

This was my first experience renting a Uhaul truck, the website to book was user friendly and offered many options for assistance with moving. Check-in was a breeze, and Troy S did a phenomenonal job through my whole experience to make sure I was taken care of and had no issues with the equipment rented to me. Staff was friendly and facility was clean and organized. 10/10 yal

We had a reservation at another rental place but for whatever reason, Budget didn’t have the truck we reserved. We’re moving across the country so we didn’t have time to waste. The Canal U-haul store directed us here and we were able to get the truck we needed.
Aaliyah was EXTREMELY helpful and went above and beyond to make sure our truck was ready and had everything we needed. She even called the other store closer to our house to make sure they had the towing trailer we needed. You turned our day around and helped us more than you know. Thank you so much!

This is by far the worst unprofessional service I have EVER dealt with. I reserved a u-haul through customer service at the Marrero Location (Westbank Expressway). When I walked through the doors I seen how unprofessional the location was listening to the clerk talking to another customer. I was under the impression that my rental was going to be 24 hours as I was told by the rep over the phone. The clerk told me I only have 6 hours for the rental; I received the truck at noon. I received a text at 3:45 stating the truck had to be returned by 5. At this point, I’m like wait that’s not 6 hours, so my husband called the location for them to explain why we are not getting the full 6 hours nobody was able to explain that but stated it was the 1st of the month and others needed the rental. We literally rushed moving 3 bedrooms of furniture to where it needed to go. Once we got back to location to return the truck, they still charged us for gas after we put the gas where it was from the start. Their attitudes were terrible and very unprofessional; which explains why they were the only ones who had available trucks. I will never rent through this location EVER in my life again. My husband and I have never been so rushed to move and return a u-haul in a short amount of time. I’m now looking for someone who has a small truck to move what I couldn’t because of their inconvenience in rental time.
