Holly Bryant, the site Mgr at the Uhaul location in Merrit Island is awesome!!, last night my card would not work so i contacted the after hour # and spoke w Holly, she immediately sprang into action and right over the phone let me create a pin code and cancelled my card and explained in details that with pin code # i would not have to use nor worry about the swipe card anymore, i would highly recommend this storage unit facility, always clean and maintained and in emergencies the response time is asap! Thank you Holly Bryant for helping me get into my unit after hours!!
Exceptional service! Katie E. Has gone above and beyond with her customer service skills. I dealt with an unpleasant furniture reseller, furniture store owner from Fabulous Finds (Carolyn’s husband) where he did not empty the unit as agreed upon and he peed in a bucket and closed it in the unit. Katie put on gloves and handled it professionally and spoke with the Head of Operations to ensure that this individual would be banned from the premises. She also removed the items left in the unit to donate to others and cleared all the trash to the dumpster. She was a true gem and U-haul is lucky to have her. She even fielded a call from me regarding a refund payment on the unit and took the question up the ladder to resolve it. Thank you Katie E.
The process of accessing use of the truck should be simpler! The lock to get the key is old & rusty! It took an hour & a half between the frustrations of the app & trying to access the key to the truck. The truck’ s emergency light was on the whole time which is frightening & the truck was dirty, smelly, & broken! The app is faulty because it kept changing the pickup & dropoff times automatically. I returned the truck to the location & it wasn’t registered returned at the time of return & they charged me more as well as a late fee. I put the key back in the lockbox which was difficult because of the rusty lock. I tried to call & get in touch with the rental location & no answers!! Highly unlikely I’ll be renting from them ever again. I will be requesting a refund!!!
Worst customer service. The van I rented did not have air conditioning and the tire pressure monitoring system was inoperable. The location knew the vans ac was broke in advance and still rented the van. Also the uhaul app crashed which prevented me from completing the return after hours. When I called the location the following morning Ron the General Manager he was rude and lacked basic customer service skills.
