VICTORIA WAS EXTREMELY RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL. UNPROFESSIONAL. I filed a formal complaint with Mark the general manager however nothing has been Rectified

The person in the dealer said he can’t give me the truck because I make the rent just 1 hour ago and other person make the rent 6 or 7 days, so they have the truck available which it was online reservation, that I just need for 4 hours rent and they to moving from 1 location to another and they are not able to give me just because I just make the reservation 1 hour ago, that’s why need more computer working and not persons, that’s why they need more dealers of U-haul in Midland with professional behavior and skills.

Very disappointed. Made a reservation awhile back for a 26’ truck one way. Two days before my pick up U-Haul called me to let me know there were no trucks available in Midland and I would have to drive 52 miles to pick it up. I did not agree to that location. They found another location 20 minutes away. I now have to drive myself 20 minutes away, pay for gas in a 26’ truck to drive back to Midland, then drive back to pick up my vehicle, and again drive home to Midland.

I asked the manager and he said they don’t have the staff to pick up trucks for reservations. It seems to me that they shouldn’t let people reserve trucks or equipment if it is not available. Very frustrated with the entire situation. If it wasn’t last minute I would use a different company. If you are a tight schedule and moving out of town I don’t recommend depending on U-Haul for your moving needs.
