A uhaul backed into my mother’s car while she was waiting for me, the manager’s “solution” was to “review the cameras and let us know,” this was Saturday. She made ONE attempt to get ahold of us by phone while we were moving and did not leave a message. We will be filing a claim with our insurance and avoiding this location at all costs in the future

Didn't reek when we inspected but once odor covering spray wore off.. we had three full days encased in cigarette stench

The ratings do not lie people. The hours at this U-Haul on Saturdays state they’re open till 7pm. Google, the U-Haul website, and their very own doors say that as well. When you arrive after 6pm you will get the bare minimum from these folks.

The professionalism is lacking and I’m sure also the sales as well. As I was told not to buy a propane tank at that location be they’re “too expensive”. And that they would not fill my propane tank because it needed to be requalified. They never said anything about them going to close in soon when I arrived around 5:30. I did ask the lady as well if they requalify them and she said no.

So being she told me to not buy a propane tank at this U-Haul, I went all the way across missoula to someone that would be willing to sell me a propane tank no matter the price they were priced for. After that I went back to this same U-Haul location to get my new propane tank that I just bought filled.

I pulled up, set the tank on the stand, rang the bell for service and sat in my car until a gentleman named John came out. I did not notice he had came out and he comes up to my window and says “we’re closed for the day sorry” and turned around to proceed back from where he came from I said “what?” Because I didn’t hear him clearly and everywhere where their hours are listed it says 7. So I was confused as well. He turns back around with his palms up but hands still by his side and said “sorry. We’re closed.” I said “okay”.

After that I sat in the car and looked up propane refill near me. Everywhere was closed but this U-Haul location not only google was saying it was open but theyre own website and front doors as well. I went inside to receive a complaint form after this whole experience and was told they do not have any. After that I asked both the lady that helped me the first time and the gentleman that expressed his need to not help me this second time I came to the location if they were the managers they both said no. I asked for the gentleman’s name and he said “John”.

I grabbed a card off the desk they were both sitting at and wrote his name down so I wouldn’t forget. I said “okay” and started walking away halfway from the desk to the door the lady started yelling from across the store about how “we get a high influx of trucks at the end of the day so we shut the propane down early.” I never said anything about the propane when I went inside so how does she know what I wanted to file a complaint about? Could have been the professionalism I received and that I was told not to buy a propane tank and had to go buy one and came back to you’re operation closed early. I never said anything I just kept walking out.

I will NEVER come to this location ever again. I have been here very many times to refill propane and rent vehicles as well. I have dealt with these Individuals enough already and this cut it. I did text the manger (her name and contact info was on the card) that evening stating what happened exactly like I did above and I have not heard back. (5 days later)(pictured is the new propane tank I bought)
