The person who helped me was not courteous, he did not want to help me, and when I went to return the equipment he realized that I had arrived and what he did was return to his position, I waited more than 10 minutes, I had to enter the building and say to help me with the return, what she did was put her head on the desk and try to ignore me, another girl was the one who received the trailer. I am very sorry for this because I have always received good attention here, but because of this person who seems racist, he made me feel that way.
I have to say that Jackson is one of the absolute best employee there! He definitely goes above and beyond for the customer and he is great with customer service! You are very lucky to have an employee like him. Honestly a real good guy!!

I will never ever again use U-Haul and I definitely won’t ever go back to this location and I’m going to tell you my story why. I was severely taken advantage of and they stole a lot of money from me. Here’s the story…
It started on June 10th of this year. I had made a reservation to get a cargo van and use it for a week going to a festival. I showed up at the location and I can already tell something was a miss from the attitudes. We will call it a gut feeling at this point. When we were doing the computer work I asked the guy if I could test out the different vans to find out which one I was comfortable with as I am only 5‘1“ and certain vehicles are difficult for me to drive. He runs to the back and grabs a vehicle out of the dirty lot that hadn’t been detailed yet. He says this one is the one you need as it is easy for shorter people and it is slightly taller. I didn’t ask any questions he handed me the keys I went inside and finished my computer work, came out, did a brief walk around if that’s what you want to call it and left. Let me stop here and reiterate that I am only 5‘1“. also let me state for the record that there was no walk around with anybody and it was completely left up to me to gauge whether the vehicle and I certainly couldn’t see the roof! This thing was a mess!! Looked like it hadn’t been detailed in a few customers. But I figured we were going to a festival so what the heck.
So we do our festival, come back and drop the vehicle off, the guy says we are good to go and we leave. About two hours later I got a phone call saying that I now owe $357 for some damage to the roof. Now mind you there was never any one on the roof and it was open skies the entire time we had it and there’s no possible way that I could’ve done the damage! They tell me that there’s a yellow scratch that’s now worth $618 at this point because I didn’t pay the $357 right then and there. They said I could have it at a discount if I paid them right then with no proof whatsoever of the scratch even existing. how do you get a discount on bodywork? That’s my first question. I was also told that if I didn’t want to pay the $357 right then that I would receive a phone call from the general manager of this location within 48 hours which I never got.
They told me they wouldn’t run my card and that I now had a bill that I owed to uhaul. Fast forward to July 1 I open up my account to find $618.83 gone from my account and low and behold guess who took it? You guessed it…U-Haul. Let me back up just for a second and let you know that I had called my insurance company about this and they said not to give them a single penny without proof. Also as of writing this review I still have zero proof to the scratch ever existing as no one has sent me a single picture yet and the only thing I have to go by is their word.
Now you guys can go ahead and blame me for not getting a new card to protect myself from frauds like this but after talking to customer service and not getting phone calls from other managers that I was supposed to receive and told I was going to receive I figured the matter was dealt with and over with before July 1. Obviously I was wrong.
Today I talked to yet another person from customer service and this time the person basically went over the entire contract with me. she went through all of the small writing and it basically said I’m screwed and can’t get my money back even though I wasn’t the one who did the damage. To this day a month later I am still fighting to get my money back but it looks like it’s gone because they took it ….literally took it from my bank account! I was told they wouldn’t but I did anyway, I haven’t heard from anyone except for calling them because they sure are going to call me, and I still haven’t received any proof whatsoever of the damage even existed to begin with. I have been scammed, I have been conned, I have been taken advantage of and I have been robbed!!! Thank you for reading
Every employee i encountered was kind, helpful, and super friendly. Plenty of space to park, load/unload, and offering Moving Help as an integrated service was super helpful.
