U-Haul Moving & Storage of Nanuet

I liked the location and the equipment and how easy it was to reserve the truck, but the customer service was poor. When the first I got to U-Haul, I came to Marie and she said go to her, she pointed to the lady next to her. The way Marie spoke to me wasn't friendly, no smile, no eye contact and looked annoyed. I came to Anne and she was just the same. She provided a poor customer service. While Anne was providing service to me, she was talking to Marie in their language not in English. She wasn't friendly, unprofessional, not helpful. She didn't greet and didn't thank and no smile. The way she spoke sounded unfriendly and unpleasant. It looked like she doesn't like her job and doesn't do her job happily. When I was checking the car and I asked for help through Carlos and William, they went inside and told her. She said she can't help because I have been there for 24 mins, she can't resend me the link if more than 5 mins. I didn't know if it was true. Finally, Carlos and William helped me. They both were friendly, professional, helpful, soft spoken and had a good communication skill. I was surprised why someone like Marie and Anne can work at U-Haul. I think they are lacked training and don't know how to treat a customer with respect. I could rate this location excellent if I didn't encounter with Anne and Marie.

I love the location and the people; this is the 2nd time renting from this location and my favorite now. The pick-up process was quick and pretty efficient. The person who helped me check/hitch the trailer used the opportunity to show, apparently, a new employee all the important safety aspects, and he was VERY GOOD, detail-oriented, and had great coaching and training session.
