U-Haul Moving & Storage of Northwest Spartanburg

Uhaul.com allowed me to reserve a pickup truck. Completed the online check in and everything seemed normal as usual until I went to pick up the truck. The girl at the counter told me as of last week Uhaul no longer rents pickup trucks and she didn't know why I was allowed to reserve one online. Then she told me that she didn't have a cargo van available but she had a 10ft box truck. Then they couldn't find the keys to that truck, another 10ft truck needed repairs, and the other 10ft truck on the lot wasn't showing up in the system. BUT she had a 14ft box truck available and the price would be the same as the price of the 8ft pickup truck.
In the end the problem was resolved as best as possible and the girl at the counter did the best she could to resolve a problem that she had no control over.
I'm a little bit disappointed that Uhaul has decided to remove 8ft pickup trucks from the Uhaul fleet.

This was a super easy process. I was able to reserve online, check in online, get verified and then just go get the keys. It was super easy in the midst of an otherwise stesssful day. Returning was also super easy. I was greeted by an associate with a smile on her face. Within minutes I had a receipt. Will absolutely use this specific location again!

The manager Taylen helped me making another reservation for another I lost, she made the effort to avoid paying more and got me another auto transport, it was a really good help.

Tammy is the absolute best. Give her a raise. I have had to get several U-Hauls in the past couple of months due to life happening and she has went above and beyond to make sure the process was easy.
