U-Haul Moving & Storage of Northwest Spartanburg

We needed a truck during rbe early days of recovery from Hurricane Helene. Power was out and gasoline was hard to come by. When we went to get the truck we reserved, we discovered a slight challenge. It was on ‘E’ for fuel.

WE had a problem, but the UHAUL rep assisting us fixed it like it was hers. She said, “I don’t want to send you out of here with that truck. I’m going to upgrade you at the same price because this truck has 3/8 of a tank to get you where you need to go.”

I was impressed at how she had the latitude to make that decision without having to get permission up the line. I heard someone once say: “Not every problem may be my fault, but it is my problem to fix.”

We have had 2 units for the past 2plus years now. We was able to finally downsize to just one unit. This facility has by far been the best place to use for storage. It’s clean and well maintained. And we never once saw any type of bugs and damage to our property.

I was treated awesome.

- reservation portal allowed me to book at one location and then shifted me to a different one with no notice
- the rep that responded to the above complaint was rude and dismissive
- the pickup app didn’t work the morning of, so I had to stand in line and wait and was an hour behind schedule
-I had to go track someone down to drop back off at the end of the day.

I will not only not recommend you to a friend but will ACTIVELY recommend they go to Penske for a few dollars more instead.

The truck was fine.

Very clean. Well maintained. It's not the cheapest storage around. But for me, it was worth the extra dollars. There's also random police ? presence that's a Great benefit.
I appreciate the friendliness at the service counter every time I rent. Tammy is always amazing ?? . I've never had a bad experience.
