U-Haul Moving & Storage of Oakwood

We drove there to pick up a 10 foot truck that showed as available online, but they didn't have one when we arrived. They said another person had not returned it yet. I get that things happen, but their online system should reflect what's available. Also, we were able to rebook with another Uhaul rental place online, and I noticed it said 'reservation guaranteed or get $50' I wonder if this location was also supposed to honor that same deal or if they just didn't mention it.

Staff made it easy to check out and get checked back in. Rented a trailer for the day to move some household stuff. Pricing is corporate controled. Used app to make reservation on line.

I had a great experience, specifically at the U-Haul of Oakwood Georgia location. I had a hitch installed at a different U-Haul location. After the hitch was installed, I noticed the hitch was damaged, bent, while I had a trailer connected. After removing the trailer, I took the car with the bent hitch to the Oakwood location for help. Together, we found the hitch had not been installed properly. After some research the General Manager, Blake, agreed to correct this issue. A new hitch was found and installed, no charge to me. I thank this team for stepping up and correcting a different locations issue.

I experienced a team that worked well together to resolve an issue that otherwise could have been a real tough spot for me.

Worst customer service of any place I have ever been!! Wouldn't go back if someone paid me!! Tyler C. acted like it was the biggest inconvenience to help, and didn't explain anything. When I asked about dropping off after hours, I was told it's in the contract!! If you don't like your job, get another!! Don't take it out on the customers!!

Do not use this location. After a move my husband left 2 chairs in the back of the truck. He called the same day and they acknowledged having them. A few days later they claimed they were 'gone they only hold items 72 hrs'. They had our #, no one told us that or called.
