U-Haul Moving & Storage of Owings Mills

If you rent here, and you've already submitted feedback, be sure not to answer the phone if this place calls later. The rest of the staff was awesome here, but the general manager apparently likes to relieve stress by harassing people for giving feedback that is asked for. I don't use services to be argued with when my feedback on the specific location was nothing but positive. Otherwise, this would have been five stars.

I originally went to the U-Haul dealer at batteries plus in Reisterstown. I walked in at 8:00am and the guy behind the counter was eating a hot dog and watching TV. He said how can I help you? I said I needed a truck. He huffed and said “oh great, the first customer of the day and they want a truck, you know it’s gonna be a bad day when you start it like this.” I couldn’t believe what I was hearing so I said I can take my business elsewhere. He said no I just have to check it in. He walked out back and came back 5 min later and said I can’t rent you a truck, the back is full of roaches and I have to clean it properly. Don’t really believe him for I felt like he really didn’t want to do the paperwork or fill out anything so that was just his excuse. So I left and went to the one in Owings mills. Alls I can say is that the one is Owings Mills is too notch. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a gentleman. He was very thorough in explaining the different options. He even walked me out to the truck and explained all of the features and I was in my way in literally 15 min. From now on all of my business will go to that store and I will no longer patronize the one in the Reisterstown Battery Plus. Kudos to the shop in Owings Mills.

3rd time in 4 weeks renting a truck from this location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Equipment was in great shape.
