I wanted to tow my car to a mechanic 30 miles away, tow company wanted close to $500 dos the job under $125 . . .

Good support staff. Friendly, had ready info and good suggestions. Also, the truck was flawless.

What I thought could be better is the price. I had to move a bed frame that was too big for my sedan. The advertised $19 seems really great but with 22 miles it adds up to over $50. Not terrible but if it were less, U-Haul would be a constant buddy. I would use the service not once or twice a year but probably 7-8 or more times.

Seems to me, there could be a lower price for local, under 2 hour services.

I got a call the night before my reservation to tell me the van I reserved hasn’t been returned yet and that it would be returned sometime after hours, they asked if I could push back my reservation 30mins so that they could check it in first thing in the morning, which I agreed. When I arrived it still hadn’t been returned by the original renter. I was “upgraded” to a larger truck which I wasn’t comfortable driving but I didn’t have any other option. They didn’t walk me out to the truck, tips for driving etc. just “here’s the keys go find it in the lot.” It only had 1/4 tank of gas. I filled the tank up not knowing how much a giant truck would need to go from pasadena to Woodland Hills and also I didn’t realize that upon my return I wouldn’t receive any kind of credit for unused gas. This isn’t like like rental situation where you need to return the car full. So I filled up a giant truck (which again I didn’t want but didn’t have much of an option) with $110 worth of gas and only used less than a quarter tank. The team wasn’t helpful, kind, understanding, very nonchalant and couldn’t really care less.
