U-Haul Moving & Storage of Pawtucket

Move in is very easy, staff is all about business but friendly, and the storage area was clean and felt secure. This is the second time I've rented a storage unit here and, all things considered, this is probably the best in the Providence/Pawtucket area. One tip based on reports from family and friends who use this storage facility on a more regular basis: pack your belongings well, and after you've gotten everything into your unit, cover it all with a tarp or at least a plastic drop cloth.

Another day where uHaul does everything in its way to get some extra dimes and nickels out of you. The van came with less fuel than they claimed, which I pointed out through their pre trip inspection. Added fuel to just about where it was before returning it. That plus whatever it used to get to the uHaul from the gas station and their made up gas gauge from before, and they charged me $7 for half a gallon. Also, $100 charge before even taking the van and they still haven’t reimbursed me several days later.

2 minutes before close I show up to return my rental and was stopped immediately when walking in. They did not greet me they said ' Have you done the self check-in?' After saying no they continued with ' you have to do the check-in just scan the bar code'. They didnt explain to me they were closing or why they couldnt check me in or anything. Just kind of brushed me off as if they did not care to help me.
