U-Haul Moving & Storage of Pittsburgh North Shore

The staff was very friendly, BUT when I came to pick up my rental truck, it had me picking up at a totally different location and took me an extra 15mins to re-do the paperwork, which was an huge inconvenience, as it caused me late getting to my movers who were waiting on me.
The guy Calvin caused me an even more inconvenience when I showed up to my storage unit that had a Big pole in the unit. I requested another one and he gave me ANOTHER unit with another Big pole in it. I called twice again and no answer. I had to go down to the desk to request another unit that was ok. I don't want to pay for a unit that is taking up space with a pole in it. I leaves me limited space. This was VERY frustrating as my movers were late for their next appointment and I had to pay more money due to the inconvenience of your staff.

quick and easy pick up and drop off. our truck was ready and clean. the staff were friendly and helpful even in the early am. thanks for making our move less stressful!

I have a storage unit here and have never had an issue with the unit rental. Years ago there was a small price increase and I didn't receive notification in advance. My bill is automatically deducted so I would have liked to have been notified. The facility is well kept and has good hours. I have also rented U-Haul vehicles from here and purchased moving supplies.

The parking is challenging, even for an experienced driver. The signage for checking in a vehicle and trying to park for a storage unit is not as clear to someone as a new driver or if they've never been to the location. Parking for the units is tight. As such a big facility, it would be nice if the parking was more ample.
