These folks were great. I had something to move last minute. There computers were down and it was clear they were having a bad day.
They were still professional and friendly. I was on the road in under ten minutes.

For the last couple months, I have been renting from this location for four days out of the week picking you up on Monday and returning Thursday evening. With all the staff iron encountered I had no issues and was actually extremely pleased with the service up until this week. On Monday, August 26 around 8:30 AM I arrived at this U-Haul location and greeted a young lady Caucasian about 5’5 with brown hair whom I am assuming is named Jess if I caught the name other employees used when addressing her correctly. Upon greeting her, I could tell she had an attitude, but proceeded to attempt picking up my reservation. Once I notified her of my reservation, this employee began texting just as she was when I entered the store. After one text message, I shrugged it off and expected her to resume preparing my reserved truck. Instead, she resumed texting at which time I stated hey friend, I would appreciate finishing my reservation if what you’re texting about is not related so that I may begin my workday. At that time, the employee yelled at me that she was texting her boss about an incident with two other employees. I calmly responded with. I understand your frustrated, but that has nothing to do with me and I would like my reservation so that I can leave. At this time, two young men who I had the pleasure of being served by before walked in from the parking lot, at which point, the female employee stated with an attitude that one of them could handle my reservation and she is done. I began speaking with one of the gentlemen as the other attempted to de-escalate the rage coming from the young lady. She then began to make various accusations about me, recording her, screaming at her, and berating her at which time I stated to the young man that took over my reservation I’ll be happy to speak to the manager immediately because I’m pretty sure everything was being recorded and that I hope there was also audio. She then began screaming at me that she is a grown woman and nothing is going to happen to her. I responded by telling her you decided you were not going to help me and you turned my reservation over to another employee so there is no reason for you to continue speaking to me. At this point, she continued to scream she’s a grown woman and she can do what she wants at which point I returned the same energy and stated again that I need to speak with the manager immediately. Both young men on the shop floor attempted to de-escalate while also attempting to finish out my reservation so I can move on with my day. She then began to attempt to snatch my credit card out of the other employees hand, screaming at him not to help me. Once my card was processed the manager Shawn walked in shortly after as I explained the situation to him. I explained that because of close proximity, I preferred to use that U-Haul location and have had no issues on either end up until this incident. I let him know that this was extremely unacceptable because her behavior was not suitable for anyone representing a business. He advised that he would have a conversation with her at which point I advised I would be contacting corporate because a simple conversation was not enough of a consequence for how this woman treated a once faithful customer. It was at that time that I decided my company would no longer be using U-Haul as I refuse to patronize a business that lacks accountability for its employees and allows employees to blatantly, disrespect customers without reason.
Calvin at the register was very clear and understanding with us. First time renting a U-Haul and it was very easy. Only problem was the truck we rented the drivers side door was dented in before we rented it and made it a bit difficult to ensure the door was closed all the way
