U-Haul Moving & Storage of Pittsfield

This location is literally a Costco sized wonderland for all things moving, storing, boxing, and renting whatever you need to make your move super SMOOTH.

Do not! I repeat Do Not Rent a U-haul/storage or ect items from here. The site manager; Justine Dus. Is very rude and has a strong condescending tone. I was granted a 25$ U-haul VIP code because of her! & the way she have treated me and my boyfriend, that was about 2 years ago. & now again I have went to rent another cargo van and received the same IF NOT WORST treatment from Justine Dus. Which today, I have reported her again to a U-haul customer service management representative. I’m not sure how Justine Dus still works for this company. I’m sure it won’t be for long after reading more reviews on this website which most reviews are about Justine Dus.
Today, during my phone call with a 1800 customer service rep, Justine had raised a high pitched tone; rudeness and very condescending tone towards me again as well as repeatedly out speaking over me. She have also hung up a 3 way phone call with the customer service representative and I.

REMEMBER: All phone calls are recorded Justine Dus. ?

Justine , have no customer communication skills and nor does she care about customer communication skills! She thinks because she is a GM (general manager) that she can talk to people any kind of way. That is totally incorrect! As she have voiced there is no one higher (above) her. Come to find out there is Justine… & it is called the District Office of U-haul. Thank god a representative today have giving me that information.

To future customers, having to deal with an impolite; inconsiderate; disrespectful, snippy, snotty, unthoughtful; unskilled person/ General Manager such as Justine Dus, from this location. You have the right to file a complaint against this location with the 1800 customer service number and if your still not satisfied with the resolution you can go forward to contacting the District Office of U-haul. As this is an unnecessary unacceptable way to be treated by someone representing a company.

We had some sort of rust leak onto all of our belongings from the unit above. We told the manager and several staff members several times about the issue and nothing was done. We paid $100 a month to have items ruined and have to be thrown out because of this rusty water that leaked on everything. We expected to have our unit moved or at the very least looked into why there was this leak but no one ever contacted us. We were never compensated for a unit that ruined our items. Slow to fix any issues (in our case not at all) but quick to call you when you’re a day late on your payment. All in all, an awful experience and if we didn’t move so far away I would’ve cleaned my unit out much sooner.
