Went to pick up a 20’ truck this morning. Lady that I had asked me an estimated round trip I said 30-40 miles, not really thinking it mattered. I got charged an original $100 holding fee at the start of the day, which I thought was fine. I call in after I returned the truck and get told that my round trip was 38 miles and I got charged an extra $98 for gas on top of the $100 fee. No information was ever disclosed to me about their policies and how I would be getting charged. Don’t recommend going business with a place that doesn’t fully disclose extra surcharges. Also, if the mileage was that important, why was I not disclosed any info going into my rental at the store / before. Won’t be renting again.
