We tried to return this Uhaul after unloading stuff from college into an apartment. There was one person 'working the counter' and we had to wait for so long because their work was watching videos on their phone and not paying attention to the many customers that were waiting.

This is for Uhaul in general - it really stinks that you are the only option. We had 4 stops between the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh area to get items for our son's apartment. No where could I indicate that when renting a truck. So we were charged an 'over mileage' fee. I rented the truck, didnt go out of state, and there was no option to tell you the anticipated mileage.

I was happy that what I ordered online was there- the morning that I went to pick it up.

SCAM!!! They lied to me and told me that the $15 per day insurance was mandatory because my own auto policy would not cover their vehicle which I later found out was not the case. Also, they charged me $120 for a utility dolly that I forgot to return with the truck and then refused to refund me if I returned it later. I was given the truck with 1/4 tank of gas and returned it with 1/8 tank. They charged me $30 for five gallons of gas and $30 service fee for pumping the gas ($60 for five gallons of gas!!!). They also charged me for an extra day for being two hours late returning the truck AFTER they said I would not be charged for being late. Ended up being charged $463 for having a 15 foot truck from Tuesday to Friday and only driving 30 miles total.

UPDATE - The manager called me and refunded $210
