I had a great experience with this storage facility. They were very helpful with any concerns I had. The place was very clean and secure. Alarms will be triggered if you go into an area your not suppose to be in which I liked. I will definitely be using them again in the future if I need a storage facility.
Young lady at check in did not know what she was doing. Did not give us a receipt or anything. Did not check in our U-Haul until the next day and charged us an extra day because of their mistake! Manager made excuses for her employees incompetence and did not refund us for THEIR mistake. Horrible experience at this location.
Nice facility but certain aspects of my experiences are left to be desired. I rented a 30 ft truck to return from out of state back to Florida after a work assignment. Booked everything on line, made it to this location without an issue. Showed up close to closing but made it. The manager told me to unload my truck into my on site storage unit and drop the keys when I was done, and she would make sure I was checked in on time. After driving for two days we busted our rears and got it unloaded. I made sure the truck was clean and parked it under the awning as requested. The drop box is nowhere to be found so I made the most logical decision and put the keys in the sun visor. (come to find out the box is stuffed in the back corner on the dumpster enclosure way out of sight).
The next day my phone is blowing up and one of the employees is freaking out that they can't move the truck and they have searched high and low in the truck and I must have taken the keys. I finally step away from my desk at work and answer. Situation solved- NOPE. I get billed by Uhaul in the mail for $150.00. I call and ask and Uhaul tells me I returned my truck and trailer a whole day late. That was very incorrect. I called the location and was told they would refund me AFTER I paid the fee. Sounded like a risk I was not willing to take. Now almost six months later I am still in a dispute with UHaul and because they did not stick to their promise of an on time check in (which I was) I now cannot rent anymore Uhaul equipment until this situation is resolved.
** Also want to note that the storage units are WAY over priced and complicated. The unit is armed with an alarm that has to be deactivated every time the lock is closed, forget that and it sets off the alarm and turns into a big fiasco. Also, I had gotten mixed info from employees. I was behind on a payment due to a job change so I called to make sure the facility knew and to make sure I wasn't going to loose my unit. Called and was told ' it takes months for your unit to go to auction, you have plenty of time'. Then called back two days later feeling very uneasy about what I was told. Spoke to the manager and was told that because I was close to 30 days behind that my locker would be lien'd and going to auction in less than two weeks. **
Lots of miscommunication here......
