U-Haul Moving & Storage of Prattville

The employees I dealt with were both personable and friendly. The equipment was not well-maintained. One of the straps on the car-hauler trailer was frayed and unusable. The trailer I was given was too short for my truck, creating an unsafe haul. One of the tires was at 20lbs of pressure, when it needed to be up around 50psi, so I had to fill that myself. I wasn't able to rent one-way, so I had to drive 85 miles back to Prattville (at 79 cents per mile) the next day. The truck I rented to pull the trailer had mechanical issues causing noise, so it was difficult to listen for issues with the towed load, because the truck itself was constantly growling.

Overall, I got the job done, but it was not a pleasant towing experience.

This is the only place I use in the Prattville/Millbrook area. They are always nice and professional. I’ve had multiple great experiences here and will continue to use them. Top notch!
