U-Haul has allowed us as a family to accomplish so much affordably that otherwise would be such a financial burden... Not to mention the great exercise and sense of accomplishment that comes from tackling big jobs ourselves!

This was by far the worst customer service experience of my life. I decided to rent from this location on 9/5/2024, upon pick up they told me that the truck had no gas and I must go to a gas station immediately, I was a bit hesitant because this wasn't off to a good start however my wife and I were so excited to move and we brushed this aside and decided to fill up the U-Haul (they said they would offer us a credit for doing so). Upon transportation of the U-Haul later that evening going down 1-96 the U-Haul broke down (the crankshaft completely separated from the U-Haul). This left us stranded 10 miles from our location on I-96.... later the manager indicated to me the vehicle was stolen from the lot the previous month and they must have not fixed it correctly....... now I'm sitting on the side of the road with U-Haul customer support on the phone indicating to them that all my belongings that I'd ever owned is sitting in their broken vehicle on the side of the freeway. They told me my uhaul would be picked up promptly in the morning and transported back to their shop. My uhaul however was not transported back to their shop until 3 days later, hence it sat on the side of I-96, for three days, with all my family's belongings, which caused us to postpone our move, pay a moving company twice, and have to sleep in a hotel for three nights because my wife and our kids were without beds for 3 nights. Customer service never followed up with us, no compensation was ever offered, and at the end of the day the towed our broken down uhaul to our new neighborhood, putting it on blocks until we unloaded the rest of our belongings. The manager here is less than helpful and uhaul never wound up reaching out to me regarding compensation. I will absolutely never go back to uhaul. This was the biggest ball drop by a company that I have ever endured. I am now in the process of getting a lawyer to get compensation for hotel fees, and the pain and suffering of what should have been the most joyous day of our life's turned out to be the biggest nightmare. complete negligence on uhuals part of renting us a non worthy road vehicle that could have killed us and put us in danger having to walk a mile off the freeway.

Slow. They were too distracted. With a customer standing right in front of them at the counter, no one said we'll be right with you or anything. Then the computer was shady and the guy couldn't ring me up. Irritated me there today.

Prince is good people and helped me out a ton! Place is clean and staff are very friendly.
