U-Haul Moving & Storage of Sebring

I visited the Tanglewood U-Haul storage facility in Sebring Florida on August 10th of this year to rent an enclosed trailer..
I was immediately struck by the cleanliness and obvious organization of the facility..
When I walked in Tracy the manager greeted me with enthusiasm and a friendly greeting.
I think within 10 minutes the trailer was hooked up to my car and I was on my way!!!!
I HAVE BEEN MEANING TO WRITE A GOOD REVIEW EVER SINCE.
As it turns out now I needed a storage unit for a new motorcycle to protect it from hurricane Milton.
Just like the first visit Tracy was unbelievably professional, upbeat,and knew her stuff..
It was 10 minutes to closing and within 10 minutes I had a 10x20 storage unit!!

When I rented the storage unit
I told Tracy the gentleman was really good... at that point Tracy told me that's her husband Paul !
The manager's name is Tracy Teague and her husband's name is Paul Teague.
This is the excellent facility with great people.. I highly recommend Tanglewood U-Haul in Sebring.

I regret to say that my experience with the staff I interacted with was disappointing. In previous experiences with different U-Haul locations, I was informed that a major credit card or DEBIT CARD with a major credit card logo was required at the time of pick-up for Cargo Van and Pickup Truck rentals. However, when I called U-Haul Moving & Storage of Sebring, Florida, to inquire about renting a pickup truck, I was told that I could not use a debit card at all only a major credit card or cash would be accepted.

When I arrived in person, the staff seemed uncertain about whether they could complete the transaction with cash even though they said they could over the phone, which caused unnecessary confusion and delay. Due to this, I ultimately decided to leave and take my business elsewhere, as I had successfully done in the past.

I was able to get the U-Haul that I needed without hassle at a different location. I had initially chosen U-Haul Moving & Storage of Sebring because my usual rental location was closed on Sunday, but based on this experience, I am hesitant to return if the process continues to be this complicated.

So, I recently found myself in need of bringing my car back home from North Florida. Now, instead of hitting the panic button and preparing myself for a gut-wrenching $800-$1,000 tow bill (seriously, are these trucks made of gold?), I went with the cheaper and much more Pedro-approved option: U-Haul.

For just $50 (yep, you read that right, fifty bucks), I rented a car dolly that saved my wallet from a financial black hole. That’s like 95% cheaper—or to put it in clearer terms, I saved enough to fund a small island vacation… or at least a very fancy dinner with my wife.

U-Haul’s team? Friendly enough to make you feel like you’re borrowing a dolly from your favorite friend. The process was smooth, the pricing reasonable, and the dolly, well, it did exactly what a dolly should do: it got my car home without any issues. Would I give them five stars? Well, maybe not five because I’m still waiting for my official U-Haul VIP parking spot (hint hint). But a solid four stars for sure—because it got the job done, and I didn’t have to sell a kidney in the process.

If you ever find yourself needing to haul something and want to avoid being towed into financial ruin, U-Haul’s your best bet.
