I have been reaching out to this U-Haul since , August 8, the first day of service and have yet to speak to anyone. We were sold a storage unit 0234 by Michelle M that was already in use and did not find out until we went to use the unit. We have been unable to speak with anyone other than customer service who switched me to 4 people after using their chat due to being on hold for customer service for 15 minutes and then putting in for a callback before I actually spoke with someone who could help. I also called and texted the manager, Lamar Stevenson, with the cellphone number they had available for him and did not get a return call or text. We stood in the pouring down rain trying to figure out what to due and even set the alarms off I. Hopes someone would call or come but nope the police didn’t come nor did anyone from U-Haul. I still have not received the contract for the new unit that we had to find that night in the rain . We were told not to worry about the gas in the truck due to everything we were dealing with and then still charged a refuel fee of $30 and $18 worth of fuel, the fuel when we had the truck was barely at 1/3. Today is Saturday and the general manger still hasn’t called and I still haven’t heard about the bill or the storage unit. There was so much going on on the day of purchase with the employees inside but we figured it had nothing to do with us. They convinced us to use their storage facility instead of the one we were going to use and it’s been downhill since.
Customer service is terrible. The employees are very slow. That place needs help bad.
There was a female worker with purple braids walking back and forth who had a terrible attitude and TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Her response to everything was “Im off the clock” well how about you point me someone that can help although I just watched you help 3 different people. All though the guys at the front were very helpful I will never use this location again and will be leaving Google review thanks to YOUR employee purple braids.
I moved out of my storage unit on 6/29/2024 and I took pictures to show that the unit was clean and my lock was removed. I haven’t heard from anyone until now saying that my move out date was on 7/10/2024 which is incorrect. Also the gas gauge wasn’t where they said it would be but I replaced the gas that I used and I haven’t heard anything about that either
Female worker named Michelle hung up on me because she had a line and couldn't check my reservation but further more my wife wanted to kill because of the lack of respect so sad
