U-Haul Moving & Storage of South Lake Tahoe

Russell was far from helpful and a total jerk over the phone. In person he was the same. Highly do not recommend! If he hates his job then he should just quit!

I had an appointment this morning to deliver a load to U Haul , in South Lake City , CA at 1105 Emerald Bay Dr.
well the agent running the front office , she refused to unload or accept the three Pallets belonging to their client after a long haul from Spokane, Washington .

The broker luckily rerouted the load to Reno , NV.
The gentleman running the show IN RENO , NV. is professional Friendly , Courteous and appreciative.
Fast unloading , literally 15 minutes, signed the BOL .All done.

A big thank you to Travis and his team for being incredibly helpful, patient, and understanding with us! He provided excellent customer service and helped us navigate getting refunds and credits from Uhaul due to delays in and problems with shipping our Uhaul storage box directly to our new place after a huge cross country move. He was so kind, funny, and helpful! He and his team made our transition back to Tahoe so much smoother and made us feel right at home. Seriously, working with the team at South Lake Tahoe Uhaul has been our best experience with Uhaul by far! Thanks again and keep up the fantastic work!

I've had some issues with Uhaul during this trip cross country, but my issues are with the 'Corporate Staff'. I'm writing this review for the staff at Uhaul in South Lake Tahoe specifically for Travis, Savanah and Linda. THIS isbwhat customer service should look like. The place is clean, well organized and you can tell that place is run with high morale as everyone there is so eager to help everyone. Savanah stated she's only been there a few months, yet she handles the rental units like she's been there for years. Travis. Great job, sir. You know your business. Thank you team.

Rented a trailer on Saturday at noon returned it 4 hours later. Their employee unhooked the trailer on a hill in spot #5 and let it slide into my bumper scratching it badly. Then on Monday I get a call asking where the trailer was. I told them I dropped it off on Saturday as I said I would. They said they would go look. And I never heard anything until i got a bill for 3 days rental when I had it 4 hours.
