U-Haul Moving & Storage of Stillwater

Nothing. Having already scheduled my uhaul for pickup at a particular location when I get there i was told that they didn't have the truck and sent me to another location. Long story short I was bounced around to all 4 locations in stillwater who actually had all of the 'available' 10ft trucks. When I went inside the 4th location on far west 6th street the employee told me that he wouldn't have anything until 2pm - I arrived about 30 minutes early and they had 4 10ft trucks in the yard that he said he could not release. I got on the phone with corporate as the employee stood next to me then he proceeded to work his magic and came back to me while I was on the phone with corporate and told me that he now has a truck available for me. I ended my call with corporate. 2 minutes later a young couple pulled up front and exited their car, the employee met them at the entrance and I heard him tell them - 'Hey, I'm sorry but I can let you (USE THE TRUCK) not RENT but (USE the truck) they laughed it off and he them said I'll call you if something changes. You can check the security monitors ro verify this incident happened. That told me that this guy let's his friends borrow the trucks to do whatever while taxing the customers who return the trucks before the 24 hours is up on their rental then he uses the remaining rental time for his buddies to go joy riding as long as they return it before the customer 24 hour window has expired. I have heard of these stories before, but now I actually witnessed this. All of the uhauls in stillwater should be investigated the employees are abusing their power in this small college town. They try and convince you to return the truck with 4 to 6 hours when it states the daily rates on the rental agreement.

It was easy every step of the way. The staff is the best.

I really appreciate the flexibility and helpfulness of the owner (I forgot his name). He was an extremely helpful and pleasant gentleman. If I need to rent a trailer or have storage needs in Stillwater again, this place has my business.
