U-Haul Moving & Storage of Tilton

Made a reservation for a U-Haul truck 8.13.24 for 9.1.24 @8am.
8.30.24 @ 4:38pm right before they closed, I had received an email telling me that they tried to reach out to me 2 days prior and got an answer from someone that wasnt me that they had the wrong number, so two days later they decided to send me an email before they left for the night, and changed my reservation without my knowledge.
I woke up 9.1.24, checked my email and that's when I saw the email, and noticed my reservation was changed.

U-Haul had changed my point of pickup from 5mins away, to an hour away. I had to drive an hour away to pick up my Uhaul, drive it an hour backwards to where I was, where I needed to load it. Then I had to drive 1.5hours to my destination, and then another hour back to the uhaul facility.

U-Haul added over 150miles to my trip without my knowledge or consent, and had eliminated all the free miles it had given me during sign up, the day before my reservation.

Despite having to drive an hour angrily that morning, and having to drive 3x the amount I initially was going to, Ramona of Tilton U-Haul was able to help us get mileage compensation for the change, so that was a positive.

The U-Haul however, could've used some love. The rubber window seals were coming detached from the U-Haul, the 12v outlet was falling out of the socket, underneath the glovebox the plastic covering underneath that was popped out.

Practically a brand new truck.

The people at the Tilton UHaul are really friendly and helpful. We had to rent a truck for a day to get thing from our barn to a UBox there at UHaul and they made the process very easy.

Tony & Ramona are AWESOME! Recently I rented a van from them to move some things out of my storage. Everything went smoothly with that transaction.

Well, a week later I needed some help after the Concord NH U-Haul at 29 Stickney Ave messed up BIG TIME, were rude & uninformative. I'm moving to TN, buying a property, doing a closing soon & driving myself. I needed wiring done on my van before I could rent the cargo trailer. I made an appt at Concord & then booked ALL of my reservations for the trip down. I got a call today that 'Oops! The mechanic isn't in that early' according to Natasha & they have to do it, oh no, not later that day but the next day when I planned on leaving! She also said that they couldn't guarantee me a trailer!!! WHAT?!!! Sounds like a Seinfeld episode but what's the point of a reservation if you only TAKE the reservation but can't KEEP the reservation?!

Tony was able to find local place in Tilton NH to do the wiring: Truck Trends & they were able to help! Totally awesome people there too! AND Tony was able to have a cargo trailer ready right after so that I can leave on the 13th as originally planned!

They went above & beyond during this very stressful time and I am so grateful!
