Horrible place one person working there at 1 PM on a Saturday.
The staff have an extremely parochial attitude. I just got the sense that they were put off by my business as well as that of other customers in the store at the time. They didn't seem particularly overworked or stressed yet I just felt like 'You're on your own, buddy.' I was told the installation would take 3 to 4 hours. It's been about 6 hours now and I haven't gotten a phone call AND I can't contact them directly. Piss poor attitudes and utter lack of empathy or common courtesy has marked my experience with U-Haul.
They charged my business account once then the next day they charged $216 for a hundred miles when I have it all documented in video from all my businesses where I went from Haysville to central and Oliver all my miles equal out to be 55 miles ! I keep my logs on my phone! they directly ripped me off! Don’t use this place .
My review entails nothing I haven’t already shared with U-haul representatives.
CONS:
-Self pickup video and Uhaul app did not go hand-in-hand (rep told me app was garbage)
-Sunflower seeds left in cab of truck
-Much needed dolly was not available as ordered and pre-charged
-1 of 4 customer service reps did not “represent” well
PROS:
-Truck was great operationally
-3 of 4 customer service reps provided excellent service
*Overall, this is the only time I’ve had a horrible experience with U-haul. There should be consideration that customers are renting trucks and moving equipment for reasons in which time and energy are of importance. Some of my time and energy were wasted during a big move.
