I have to say that my experience with this U-Haul in particular was above and beyond. Edgar was more than accommodating even when he wasn't working he was answering questions and coming up with solutions. Daniel was very patient and accommodating and the wonderful girl in the morning (Don't know her name) saved my wavering spirit after being able to extend my rental when all hope is lost. Even though I'm embellishing the story a little bit I do have to say that the whole team here made me feel seen and cared for Even when they are super busy . ?? ??
update ... I just returned the truck and Billy has helped me out a few times already and I have to say Billy is another amazing and helpful person that works at this great establishment.

I had an extremely frustrating experience with U-Haul today that left me feeling both disappointed and disrespected as a customer. I rented a truck this morning and paid $47, which covered a 24-hour rental period, insurance, and taxes. Everything seemed straightforward until I called to extend my rental.
I simply asked if I could return the truck tomorrow at 10 AM, which would still be within the 24-hour period. To my surprise, I was told that I would be charged extra for this. When I inquired about extending my rental by just an hour, I was met with the same response: I’d have to pay more.
This made no sense to me. Why should I be charged extra when I’m still within the 24-hour rental period? When I explained this to the customer service representative, she informed me that since I initially stated I would return the truck in 12 hours, I was bound by that time, even though the rental covers a full 24 hours. The fact that I would be penalized for trying to extend my rental within the originally agreed-upon period is baffling.
This experience feels like a punishment for being an honest customer. U-Haul’s policy seems to encourage customers to game the system rather than be upfront about their plans. If you try to be a good customer and return the truck earlier or request an extension within the 24-hour window, you’ll be hit with extra charges. This is no way to treat loyal customers. I am deeply disappointed and will think twice before using U-Haul again.
