U-Haul Moving & Storage of Versailles

Had a reservation for a truck at 8 am, store “opens” at 7. Arrived at 7:45, not a soul in sight, doors locked. Called corporate phone number, manager’s only help was that they offered to move our reservation 30+ mins from the location nearest to my house. Absolute circus.

Drove by and saw a Blue Rhino propane cage right outside the entrance. Full of propane tanks. Went inside and the rep said they don't do propane. I kept referencing the cage outside. They guy kept saying they wish they did do it. Guy wouldn't even acknowledge the cage existed. Weirdest encounter I've ever had.

It was a smooth process to rent a U-Haul trailer at this location. After placing a reservation on the app, we walked in, got hooked up and we were on our way in less than 30 minutes. Rose is the best just like I had read in the prior reviews. ???

My dispatching employee was very nice very kind opening the store by himself, not very Knowledgeable as it was only his three month mark for employment equipment on the other hand was not very well kept. There was a missing latch for the equipment. The brakes were not the greatest, and there was trash left in the truck by a previous customer damage was not very well marked. Return the truck the night before at 6:50 and the Employee refused to check the vehicle and I ended up having to check the vehicle in the store. Closes at 7 PM. Not a huge deal just not very impressed. Being a Uhaul employee myself , I would’ve gone and checked the vehicle in.

The person in charge at the store was patient, helpful, and polite, but I was overcharged for two extra days.

I was charged for three days instead of one day, even though I delivered the pickup truck 45 minutes before the expected time. The key was given directly to the person in charge of the store, and right after, she gave the key to an assistant to check the car out. Still, I was charged an extra $95, and now I am disputing it.
